Ouran High school Host club are a manga and an anime Movie that combine the romantic and comedy genre. The manga was firstly published in “Hakusensha’s LaLa” on 5 August, 2003. The plot of the manga and the anime is concentrated on the adventures of Haruhi Fujioka a student that has obtained a scholarship at the Ouran High School, a school for the aristocracy. The manga analyses the relations between the Club members and criticize the social stereotypes.

The manga and the anime received a great popularity recently, inspiring a great number of cosplayers, which try to copy their favorite characters.

Practically the word “cosplay” can be translated as “costume play”,  the cosplayers try to use the costumes, moves and accessories to represent the character they like the most from a manga, anime ori video game.

Today the cosplayers form a subculture, of anime and manga fans, their favorite place of presentations and meetings are the anime and manga meetings and festivals, video games festivals and shows.

The cosplay characters that are played mostly from the Ouran High school Host series is firstly Haruhi Fujioka the main character, that usually is a girl dressed in a student boy, and the members of the Ouran High school Host club : Tamaki Suou, Kyoya Ootori, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, TakashiMorinozuka and Mitsukuni Haninozuka.

The Ouran High school Host club is gaining more popularity, fans and cosplayers every day, many of the cosplay representations can be found in internet, on popular media sites.
